Esperanza Gutiérrez Redomero
Professor of Physical Anthropology in the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Alcalá (UAH), in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid.
She is currently Director of the Instituto Universitario de Investigación en Ciencias Policiales (IUICP), and has been a research member since its creation. She is also a full member of the Spanish Society of Physical Anthropology (SEAF) since 1986 and of the European Anthropological Association since 1987.
D. in Biological Sciences in 1994.
Lecturer in the Masters in Physical Anthropology: Human Evolution and Biodiversity, in Police Sciences at the University of Alcalá and in Criminology and Criminalistics at the University Pablo Olavide.
She has supervised more than 20 Master's Degree Final Projects and 6 Bachelor's Degree Final Projects, in the degrees of Biology and Health Biology and Criminalistics of the UAH.
She has directed and/or participated in 13 research projects. She has published more than 50 national and international publications, one book as author and another as editor, and has given more than 60 lectures in the field of Forensic Anthropology.
He has participated in more than 50 national and international conferences and organised a XVI Congress of the Spanish Society of Physical Anthropology in 2009.
He has supervised three doctoral theses, all of which were graded "cum laude",
On 25 September 2001 he was awarded the CROSS OF POLICE MERIT WITH WHITE STRIP. Awarded by the First Vice-President of the Government and Minister of the Interior.
