WHO WE ARE

An Association of Anthropological and Palaeopathological Studies led by qualified professors and experts in all disciplines of Physical Anthropology.

WHAT WE DO

We promote, cultivate and encourage the study, teaching, research and, in general, the scientific progress of Physical Anthropology and Palaeopathology. We cooperate in the dissemination and popularisation of Physical Anthropology and Palaeopathology. We encourage the knowledge and practice of Physical Anthropology and Palaeopathology in the cultural spheres of the Society, both nationally and internationally.

In addition to our professional activity linked to university teaching, we participate in national and international congresses; we publish in journals with worldwide impact; we give on-line and face-to-face courses in Spanish and English; we take part in numerous research projects both in Spain and in other countries; and we carry out anthropological excavation reports for archaeology and historical and cultural heritage maintenance companies.

Our team of collaborators

Dedicated to the scientific progress of Physical Anthropology and Palaeopathology.
